Jan Primak discovered stained-glass art more than ten years ago. In six months, Jan Primak was teaching the art and running a successful Richmond stained glass retail shop. She also developed her own artistic style. Jan returned to Montclair to continue her work in stained glass. Later she opened Glass Dreams, a highly successful art studio and gallery.
As well as an art studio, Glass Dreams is a small retail outlet for supplies, tools and glass in Montclair.
Glass Dreams hopes to expand the retail outlet and create a second shopfront with the largest range of supplies, tools, glass and other products in Montclair. The new storefront is located next to the studio. The original storefront is now a reference library, with more than 610 art-glass books. It will also be used as a training center for serious and casual artists, novice or expert.
Glass Dreams will get a $50,000 long term loan to finance the opening a second storefront.
