This year Valley Airporter plans to transport over 20,000 passengers. Three brand new 20-passenger buses will be purchased to replace the 14-passenger buses.
The expansion of airport services means that the new buses are required. The schedule has been increasing over the years. There are now ten trips per weekday (Monday through Friday), and nine on Saturday and Sunday, 365 Days per year.
Valley Airporter has its headquarters in Corvallis. This is where Oregon State University is. The university has over 18,000 000 students. In addition, there are over 120 high-tech businesses in Corvallis. Although there is a small Corvallis airport and a regional Eugene airport (50 miles south) most travelers prefer the Portland International Airport, 70 miles north of Corvallis.
Mary Wilson (co-owners of Valley Airporter) will invest in new vans. The owners will also get a long term commercial loan.
