Specialty Gifts Business Plan

March 3, 2023 By JamesCall Leave a Comment

Specialty Gifts Business Plan

Pink Lady Bug Designs LLC, (PLBD) provides high-quality, uniquely crafted chocolates and gift baskets that are sold to raise funds and awareness for women’s health programs.

  • We are a newly established company looking for equity or loans to finance our start-up capital.
  • By year two, we aim to double our sales. By year three, we plan to triple Year Two’s sales. We also have a healthy cash balance.
  • We will donate 50% to Women’s Health Programs.
  • Our business strategy is to maximize cash flows by minimizing overhead and capital expenses and thereby maximizing returns.

Pink Lady Bug Designs was formed to merchandise the concepts and designs of Linda Herter. Linda has been involved with merchandising in some capacity since the 1970&#8217. Linda was also told that the Internet dot-com company she was employed by was closing down. Linda saw the opportunity in difficulties and decided to utilize her professional and creative talents to start a company that would maximize her abilities. A major objective of the company is to raise funds for breast cancer awareness as well as provide funds for women who are not able to afford necessary breast screenings. We hope Linda’s story will inspire others and give them hope.

Pink Lady Bug Designs has many important features that will make us successful.

  • Delivering the Pink Lady Bug tale
  • Only high-quality products.
  • Half of the after-tax profits will be donated to women’s health causes
  • Being first to the market with very little competition
  • Partnering with a celebrity spokesperson
  • Establishing alliances of suppliers and vendors for fine products.
  • Customers who are emotionally driven to purchase a product that supports a cause will be sold a product.
  • There are between 20 and 30 million Americans who could be our market. This group includes all 2 million breast- and ovarian cancer patients who have died in the past ten years.
  • Prospective customers have been and will continue being supportive of our ideas and mission.
  • Endorsements from large organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Breast & Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) and many more.
  • Forming two-way links with the American Cancer Society and BCCP websites.

Pink Lady Bug’s strength lies in the experience and talents of each of its principals, fueled with a firm conviction to support the prevention of and cure of life-threatening woman’s diseases. We recognize our weaknesses in national marketing and distribution. We are now forming synergistic alliances to companies and individuals who can offer advice and guidance for our products’ launch nationally.

Balance our team with members who bring the necessary skills to accomplish our goals. Jim Herter has been employed as the Business and Facilities Manager by the Bigname University Food Services department for the past thirteen years. His primary responsibilities include planning and facilitating a $31million budget, overseeing the department&#8217, and providing management training in areas of financial planning and analysis. Jim will be the Controller and vice president, lending his financial planning expertise.

Brian Egendoerfer, currently the Manager of Web Development Services at Bigname University, is Brian Egendoerfer. For six years, Mr. Egendoerfer served as Director of Alumni Information Technology at the University’s Alumni Association. Brian’s talents will be critical to maintaining our Web sites.

Our organization is further enhanced by the formation of an Advisory Board of key support players who will give guidance and insight. Dr. Craig Sponseller (M.D.) is a Saint Louis University School of Medicine Clinical Research Physician in Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology. He is closely involved with the Cancer Center’s management of liver and other types tumors. Dr. Sponseller travelled with Naomi Judd on her lecture tour, “An Evening With Naomi Judd”, to educate the public about hepatitis.

His deep understanding of the medical field and involvement in charity and philanthropic events are unmatched.

George Friend (M.D.), F.A.C.S graduated in Medicine from Washington University School of Medicine. He has been practicing medicine in South Bend, Indiana since 1971. He was the Director of Surgical Education at Memorial Hospital in South Bend and St. Joseph’s Medical Center from 1972 to 1990. He is currently Medical Director for Breast Care Services at Memorial Hospital South Bend. Dr. Friend will bring a wealth of experience to the table in both the local and national breast care and pharmaceutical communities.

Castles Sport, a high-end apparel manufacturer for alumni, is headed by Karen Castles Gray of Atlanta, Georgia. Castles Sport is licensed with more than 40 prestigious universities in the United States. They have produced over $3,000,000 in revenue last year. Karen’s experience and advice in merchandising at a national level will greatly assist our national sales strategy.

The sale of premium chocolates will be Phase One of our marketing strategy. Our research has shown that fund-raising groups are interested in our products as favors for various events. We started with a high-quality product which appeals to many markets. This popularity can be seen in the rising demand for premium chocolates. What is great about our products? Customers can enjoy them, whether they are supporting our cause or simply looking for fine chocolates.

Because our expertise lies not in production but merchandising we have entered into an agreement to produce our chocolates with Bissinger&#8217.s French Confectioners in St. Louis. The Bissinger’s family first began producing their exquisite chocolates in Paris, France (17th-century). Bissinger’s will handle all product order fulfillment. This will eliminate any need for capital expenditure and logistic management. Bissinger&#8217’s economies will allow us to utilize their established Web page product ordering and system.

The company’s principals have provided loans to finance all of its development and operational capital. We will need to secure loans for Phase One in order to achieve our company’s goals. The funds will be used to pay legal and accounting fees, stationery, office supplies, marketing, promotions, research and development, as well as for other expenses such as stationery, office supplies, stationery, and printing. One personal computer will also be purchased with cable modem capabilities. To ensure that we have a positive cash balance throughout our startup period, the rest will be kept as cash.

We are offering three $20,000 memberships. The principal and interest will be paid in Years Three, Four, and Five. We have a high projected cash balance for Fiscal Year 3 and are confident that we’ll repay our equity members in Year 5.

1.1 Objectives

  • To build a substantial cash balance by the end of year three.
  • Our goal is to contribute $100,000 in our third year of service to not-for profit organizations that support women’s initiatives and organizations.
  • To achieve a tenfold increase in sales by the end year three.
  • To pay off any loans or equity investments by the end of Year Three.

1.2 Mission

Pink Lady Bug Designs is dedicated to becoming the premier provider of high-quality products to the market for the purpose of raising funds for under-served women’s health programs. We will accomplish our mission by:

  • Forming strategic alliances with companies and organizations that share our vision.
  • We conduct our business ethically and fairly.
  • Our employees are treated with dignity and respect.

1.3 Keys to Success

  • The Pink Lady Bug Story.
  • Secure sufficient start capital to finance the marketing plan, administrative and Web page development costs, as well as operating costs for six to 12 months.
  • Establishing a competitive advantage by being the first to market with our products and following up with a strong national marketing strategy.
  • Securing celebrity spokesperson/major sponsor for the product.
  • Controlling cash flow and finances by keeping capital costs and operating expenses low.

Gifts and Collectibles Retail Shop Business Plan

March 3, 2023 By JamesCall Leave a Comment

Gifts and Collectibles Retail Shop Business Plan

Classique Gifts Etc. It is a retail shop that offers fine gifts, collectible dolls, accessories and other doll-related products. The Lexington store will cater to middle- and upper-class customers who prefer shopping in special places than the crowded malls. A wide selection of high-quality products will be available. The customer will also enjoy knowledgeable and friendly service in an uncongested area.

This business plan is ready to receive financing in excess of $50,000 to purchase inventory as well as to pay expenses for the first two years of operation. We request a $10,000 credit card to be used for low cash flow periods. Brenda and Charles Gajdik together will be the owners and operators of the store. They will contribute $40,000 to equity as an investment. This money can be used to finance start-up and equipment purchases as well operating capital.

This plan is very conservative when compared with a comparable business in Lexington. Brenda has observed the strengths as well as the weaknesses of this store. She believes it can do better.

1.1 Objectives

  • To develop Classique Gifts Etc. Central Kentucky’s leading gift retail store.
  • To establish and maintain a gross margin of more than 40% within the first year.
  • Personal customer service and marketing are key to acquiring 4,000 customers by the end of the second fiscal year.
  • To make a significant net profit before the end of year 3.

1.2 Mission

Classique Gifts Etc.will be a retail gift store specializing in fine gifts, collectible dolls and doll accessories. We will provide quality products from trusted suppliers, and offer friendly customer service.

1.3 Keys to Success

We must be able to succeed in this industry.

  • Sell the product the customer needs and ensure that they are high quality.
  • Offer friendly customer service
  • For quick shipment of orders, establish excellent supplier/vendor relations.
  • Advertise and promote our store immediately to take advantage of the current Christmas shopping season.
  • Continuously evaluate our inventory and sales, and adjust our inventory levels using detailed records.

Home, Garden Gifts Online Business Plan

March 3, 2023 By JamesCall Leave a Comment

Home, Garden Gifts Online Business Plan

E. Jane Prenuer is the owner of J-J Enterprises with her husband John A. Prenuer. While primarily operating the Web store, Country Crockery at www.countrycrockery.com, the owners are also vendors at consumer gift shows, home and garden expositions, summer fairs and festivals; these events help us to promote the Web store. Despite the slow recovery in the national economy, online purchases and visits increased dramatically by the third season.

The owners of J-J Enterprises believe that continued growth of the business can be accomplished with:

  1. There is a serious overhaul of the Webstore, which is already in progress, and more promotions.
  2. Sponsoring special community events and fund raisers for local organizations;
  3. Renovation of an existing building to safely store inventory and set up a more efficient packing and shipping area;
  4. Increasing the number of shows/events aimed at upscale consumers;
  5. For better price breaks, purchase seasonal and regular inventory in greater quantities.

Although the sales growth has been expected and welcome, it is too late to recover debts that were incurred to get there. We require financing to renovate our barn, pay off the outstanding debts, and open credit lines for product purchases. Also, we need advance payments for rental space at festivals, shows and other market events. Finance will allow us to seize opportunities to purchase and sell “ground floor” products before they are made available by other vendors on the circuit.

There are few opportunities for youth to work in unskilled jobs in the local area. High school students are expected to be employed for packing, shipping, stocking, and other business-related activities. These students will benefit from our education and experience. We also hope to be role model for them, inspiring them to pursue their dreams of entrepreneurship or further their education. We will also sponsor special events, such as ‘#8220’SummerFest and &#8221 4 of July activities, and fund-raisers for local organizations (schools or churches, among others).

Our main suppliers make in America so our sales contribute to American jobs. We continue to seek out and direct-buy American-made products that we can offer at reasonable prices and receive a fair profit. With sufficient funding, we have the potential to purchase high-quality, highly-sold merchandise suitable for fundraising.

We need $40,000 in long-term loans for renovation and restoration of the barn to be used as a warehouse. In addition, we want to keep positive cash balances during the time that we are busy with the renovation.

1.1 Mission

Company Mission

Country Crockery celebrates the home. Our goal is to offer unique, affordable gifts and accents for homes that are stylish and quality-conscious. We will make our products easily accessible with a presence online and at various shows and festivals.

Customer Creed

Country Crockery prides itself on its customer service, great communication and the guaranteed satisfaction of customers’ purchases.

Employee Pledge

Our employees will be treated with respect and rewarded for their hard work. We offer training opportunities in many business areas.

1.2 Objectives

  1. Continue to provide unique quality home and gift products at reasonable prices on the Internet and at consumer home/gift shows;
  2. By the end year one, generate minimum total revenues of $125,000
  3. In order to attract more customers, you need to grow and maintain your web store.
  4. Achieve an annual growth rate in the second year of approximately 45 percent
  5. You can expect an increase of approximately 20% per year in the first three years and an additional 20% each year thereafter.

  6. Establish a following in a specific roadshow circuit of 24-36 shows each year: Home & Garden Shows/Shipshewana On The Road; Summer Festivals/Arts & Crafts Shows.
  7. Seek out additional quality products to include in our product mix.

1.3 Keys to Success

These factors will make the company’s greatest success possible.

  • Home based facilities that reduce overhead expenses and maximize profit margins.
  • It is important to find products that are both high-quality and affordable, as well as those that express your personal style.
  • Customer services, such as obtaining obscure and discontinued products (specifically Spoontiques Pin Art and Ear Art), and personalized promotions, so that customers are encouraged for repeat purchases and make referrals.
  • Our customer base can be reached via email or postal mail.
  • We want to be viewed as the top choice for products and service in the Internet marketplace, and in our local communities.
  • You can practice daily management strategies to help your business grow and prosper.

    Gifts, Novelties, Souvenir Business Plan

March 3, 2023 By JamesCall Leave a Comment

    Gifts, Novelties, Souvenir Business Plan

Avant-Garde Building’s Gift shop has offered a variety of stationary and novelty products for years. This landmark building is a historical landmark in Jakarta, Indonesia. Customers of the Avant-Garde Building’s Gift Shop were primarily tenants. PT. is the new venture. Avant-Garde Shop” is taking over this space and redesigning it as the flagship store of the Avant-Garde Building, through a joint operation with PT. ABC Company Indonesia. Our customer base will be expanded by our focus not only on tenants but also on the neighbors and visitors of the Avant-Garde Building. The grand opening will take place on December 9th. PT.’s main priority is the safety of our customers. ABC Company’s main priority is to transform the existing outlet into an official retail store to match the lifestyle of the professionals that are our focus. [NOTE : *PT is an acronym for Indonesian Perseroan Terbatas. It means Limited Company.

This business plan lays out our strategy for re-positioning the “Gift Shop” from “just-another-store” to the “Official Store of Avant-Garde.” This plan will detail services to be provided by ABC Company in the joint operation, along with the implementation milestones for each step. ABC Company will provide several strategic recommendations on how to enhance the traffic and image of the retail facility through re-naming and image revamping, re-modeling of interior and merchandise resource planning.

    Market

There are approximately 100 offices inside Avant-Garde Building, and roughly 1,000 visitors daily to Avant-Garde Building. Avant-Garde Shop has identified three market segments: tenants and neighbors, as well as visitors.

The primary target market for our services is roughly 1,500 Tenants. They are predominantly white-collar workers and have high disposable incomes. The second target market is the local office community. These people often visit Avant-Garde Building during lunch time to meet up with their friends or colleagues. These two groups have shown their willingness to purchase from the Avant-Garde Building’s retail stores. Our location on the Mezzanine, above ground-floor dining, is perfect for attracting their attention.

The Avant-Garde Shop’s final target customers are tourists and Jakarta Metro residents who visit the Avant-Garde Building as a way to feel glamorous and be part of Indonesia’s modern economy.

    Strategy

PT. Avant-Garde Shop will make the Avant-Garde Building’s existing image and brand-name into a formidable brand that reflects wealth, power, and global sophistication. We will improve the retail space by creating a new design and adding catalog and online orders to supplement sales. It is important to remember that we do not sell merchandise. Instead, we are selling a company and an image, the New Indonesia.

All amounts are shown in the plan in Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR), also abbreviated as Rp.

    1.1 Objectives

Avant-Garde Shop has set two goals for the company. They are ambitious, but achievable. The organization will push everyone, from PT, to develop and track progress towards its goals. Avant-Garde & PT. The ABC Company will do their best.

    1. To reposition the current Avant-Garde Gift store as the Official One. We will do this by redesigning the retail space and implementing various marketing programs that increase sales and add to Avant-Garde Building equity.
    2. To earn a modest net income of Rp. 1,801,000 in year two, and Rp. 6,807,000 in year three
    3. To reach revenue of Rp. 90,299,000 per year in the first year, Rp. 95,717,000 per year and Rp. 101,460,000 for year three.

    1.2 Mission

Avant-Garde Shop specializes in the retail sale of novelty items of different product mixes. The Avant-Garde brand will have a full range of apparel, accessories, stationary and other lifestyle-related novelty merchandise.

ABC Company’s mission is to be Avant-Garde’s exclusive supplier. To achieve the Avant-Garde Shop positioning strategy we believe it is necessary to follow the theme of the target customer’s lifestyle to ensure consistency.

    1.3 Keys to Success

Avant-Garde Shop needs to look at all aspects of their customers’ value in order to be successful in merchandising.

    • A variety of mix and match merchandise to best suit their white collar target customers.
    • Customers will receive top-notch customer service in a professional and warm atmosphere.
    • Advertise and promote in areas where our target customer base will learn about our store, through the implementation of point-of-sales (banners, leaflets, flyers), website and other method of marketing medium to attract visitors to visit the location.
    • Continuously assess our inventory, sales, and adjust our inventory accordingly.
